Parents! If you're looking for a sketch comedy and improv extravaganza for your kids, then this is the comedy camp for you! Each week talent will jump on stage and practice the various fundamentals of comedy. All building up to a final show!
Workshops are broken up over the course of four weeks, all building up to a Saturday Night Live-Esq Final Showcase. We explore performing sketch comedy through different premise and character based scenes. Talent learns how to build scenes together with improv exercises like "Yes-Anding" and "Who, What, Where." Kids also practice the elements of stand-up by brainstorming and performing their own stories/ideas. All with a focus on communication, listening, and working together as an ensemble.
